Like countless other individuals, UFC middleweight Michael Bisping had his attention squarely on the Octagon last night during the main event match-up at UFC 148 between champion Anderson Silva and challenger Chael Sonnen . After the fight Bisping was asked for his take on what he’d witnessed and, in standard form, “The Count” spoke his mind with little concern about how his words would be received by the masses

Michael Bisping issues stern warning to Brian Stann
A day after Brian Stann came forward to proclaim his interest in a bout with Michael Bisping , fellow UFC middleweight Alan Belcher ’s camp released a statement explaining “The Talent” not only wants to battle Bisping but has already received a phone call from UFC brass in relation to the rumble. “Michael Bisping mentioned that he would like to fight Alan Belcher. Alan accepts! (UFC matchmaker) Joe Silva called,” wrote Duke Roufus on The Underground
Earlier this week UFC middleweight Michael Bisping mentioned Brian Stann and Alan Belcher as a pair of 185-pound peers he would entertain an outing against when he returns to action this fall. Bisping, who made the comments on UFC Tonight , is currently in the process of recovering from knee surgery

Michael Bisping still focused on second encounter with Chael Sonnen
UFC middleweight Michael Bisping is only a week removed from surgery on an injured knee but doesn’t appear to be interested in waiting any longer than necessary before making his way back inside the Octagon. Bisping, who was forced to pull out of a fight with Tim Boetsch at UFC 149 , updated fans on his condition during a recent episode of Inside MMA where he offered an optimistic timetable for his return to action. “I’ve never had surgery before so I’ve never been through this, but as fast as possible,” replied Bisping when asked about how long he wanted to wait before seeking a scrap.

Michael Bisping targeting September for return to the ring
UFC middleweight Michael Bisping may be sidelined at the moment with a knee injury but he’s already got designs on an opponent for his return bout – Chael Sonnen .
The hits keep coming for the UFC where injuries are concerned. After already having to deal with recent withdrawals involving Thiago Silva, Thiago Alves , and Brian Stann , the organization has now been forced to replace Michael Bisping in his bout against Tim Boetsch at UFC 149
Michael Bisping doesn’t respect Hector Lombard ‘s 25-fight unbeaten streak the former Bellator middleweight champ will bring with him to the UFC and doesn’t like the idea of it trumping his own accomplishments under the organization’s banner. Lombard, who signed to compete inside the Octagon last week, will make his debut against Brian Stann later this year, while Bisping, who is coming off a semi-controversial loss to Chael Sonnen , will face Tim Boetsch on July 21 at UFC 149
As far as Michael Bisping is concerned, fellow UFC middleweight Mark Munoz never belonged in a bout to determine the next contender to Anderson Silva ‘s divisional title to begin with. Bisping, who went the distance with Chael Sonnen as a replacement for Munoz earlier this year, will face Tim Boetsch at UFC 148 on July 7. Many felt Bisping and Munoz would be paired up next, including “The Filipino Wrecking Machine”, but instead it was Boetsch who earned the fight thanks in large part to his knockout of Yushin Okami last month.
