Ultimate Fighter finalist Brendan Schaub may be coming off a knockout loss to Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira but apparently the 29-year old’s confidence wasn’t rocked in the process.
For years fans have wondered how UFC heavyweight Roy Nelson would fare with a slimmed down physique rather than competing against larger opponents based primarily on his porcine physique.

In a relatively rare move the UFC has postponed a planned event even though a number of bouts had already been attached to the lineup. According to the Canadian Press , who confirmed the news with UFC Director of Canadian Operations Tom Wright , UFC 145 is now on the shelf based on an undisclosed issue with scheduling as well as the organization’s interest in promoting a “championship card”

After years of competing while injured, PRIDE legend Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira seemed to have finally turned a corner where his health was concerned after taking a good amount of time off to recover and then coming back strong with a knockout of Brendan Schaub this past August. However, as chance would have it, the same toughness prompting “Minotauro” to fight for so many years while hurt led to latest injury – a broken arm courtesy of his refusal to tap to Frank Mir ’s Kimura at UFC 140 . Nogueira, a little more than a week removed from the gruesome submission loss, has since had surgery on the arm after originally saying he had hoped to avoid the knife.
