After successfully making his way down to 205 pounds the UFC has re-signed former heavyweight Joey Beltran and wasted little time in scheduling him for action, announcing “The Mexicutioner” will face James Te Huna on July 11 at UFC on Fuel 4 .

I love MMA, and I love Bellator , but can I just tell you how happy I am that this season is almost over? I don’t even remember what Fridays were like before this it got underway. With only one more event to follow this one, followed by a three event summer series and then a break until September, this effort is a little bittersweet how close we are to the end of this historic and fun season of fights
Breaking It Down: Bellator 69
It looks like former Strikeforce champion Muhammed Lawal won’t be fighting inside the Octagon anytime soon, if ever, after entering discussions with Bellator to join the organization. Interestingly enough, Lawal is also apparently on the cusp of joining TNA Wrestling to test his skills as a professional wrestler. The 31-year old has never shied away from his love of the sports-entertainment industry, paying homage in the past by walking down to fights while wearing a crown, holding an umbrella, and being accompanied by a group of dancing girls.
