Earlier this week UFC middleweight Michael Bisping mentioned Brian Stann and Alan Belcher as a pair of 185-pound peers he would entertain an outing against when he returns to action this fall. It’s common knowledge Josh Thomson is a 33-year old Strikeforce lightweight who has been plagued by injury issues and may only have a limited number of fights left in him as a result. However, nobody knows exactly how important winning the divisional title this past weekend was to Thomson at this stage in his career better than “The Punk” himself. Such a statement is not only absurd and incorrect but a blatant insult to the men and women who actually put their bodies on the line for our freedom and protection. Chad Robichaux , a former United States Marine turned professional MMA fighter, would be among those offended by the comparison of war to an MMA fight
